![]() before i posted this i fought the hag without knowing about the cauldron and got destroyed. So, in the ruins, Ive defeated the Apprentice Necromancer, and I manged to grind up to the Necromancer mission. Doing one before the other won't make you any more prepared for your first time fighting a new boss. The hamlet contains various buildings that allow the player to form, manage, maintain and improve a roster of adventurers to send into the various expeditions needed to reach and purge the Darkest Dungeon from the evil that has encroached it. My thought process is if you're going to party wipe because you didn't know what to expect, you should get it over with ASAP so you don't become too attached to the characters you lose. Without spoiling anything both the Hag and the Swine require either a well formed party or an understanding of a specific game mechanic while the Necromancer fight is fairly staight forward and the mechanic becomes obvious before it can screw you over. So make sure you have heroes who can reach him at the back for high damage. ![]() ago He mostly relies on summoning skeletons, which pushes him to the back ranks often.
